Omarosa Tape Reveals Lara Trump Offered Her A $15K-A-Month Job For Silence After White House Exit

Date August 17, 2018

For most former employees of President Donald Trump’s White House, getting fired was a standard affair. However, former aide Omarosa Manigault Newman who got terminated in December 2017 shocked everyone by taking the left.

The former Director of Communications sparked the beef with her ex-employer by releasing recordings of conversations she had while working at the White House. In addition, the President did not warmly receive her tell-all book, “Unhinged.”

While there are some concerns that Omarosa breached security protocol by making and releasing the recordings, some commentators have expressed their disappointment on how the President reacted to both the recordings and the new book.

In a new development, Omarosa has released another tape revealing an equally disturbing affair. Apparently, she was offered a $15k-a-month job with the Republican machinery, as she claims, in exchange for her silence about activities in the White House during her time there.

The conversation happened on December 16, some days after she was fired from the White House and Omarosa released the tapes to MSNBC with Lara Trump, wife of Eric Trump, clearly making her an offer to keep quiet in exchange for a job on the Republican campaign party.

Um, I haven’t even added up the numbers. But we are talking about, like, 15k a month. Um, let me see what that adds up to. Times 12. Yeah. So that’s $180,000. Does that sound like, uh, a fair deal for you?

The evidence is damning and some commentators believe that this is enough reason for President Trump to step aside. However, other commentators raise the issue of the protocol against Omarosa, with some calling her out for taping conversations while working at the White House.

At this time, there is no telling if the matter of the tapes will affect the Mueller investigation or if Congress will address it. However, it will be quite interesting to see how the drama evolves in the coming weeks.
