The couple was energetic, lovely, and sincere with everybody constantly maintaining conversations and sharing a thing or two about various stuff.

Moreover, the party was an excellent opportunity for people to get Kate and William more and ask for some personal things, which we are so eager to share with you!

Heartfelt reason

It is a well-known fact that Prince William and Kate Middleton adore their pet dog, Lupo, and consider him as a fair member of their big family. However, the royal couple finally shed light on the touching reason behind getting their dear spaniel dog.

One guest, Natalie Bressani, asked this personal question after the Christmas party for RAF families. It turned around that the couple got Lupo to help Catherine cope with loneliness while William was away in the Falkland Islands. Natalie commented:

When Prince William was away in the Falkland Islands, he went for dinner with some good friends of ours in the Air Force, and he was saying how difficult it was for Kate because he was leaving for six weeks. It was when they’d just got the spaniel to help her with the time apart. She appreciates what wives and families go through.

Lupo

Did you know that Duke and Duchess's pet dog Lupo is immortalized in a series of children's books? Yes, indeed! One of the authors, Aby King, wrote the children's books titled The Adventures of a Royal Dog based on a black cocker spaniel, Lupo.

King said that she took her inspiration from the walks with her own spaniel, Lilly, in Kensington Gardens, where Lupo is also exercised. Hence, she wanted to describe their lives.

We didn't know that Lupo was the companion for Kate while she had to stay alone without her husband. Thankfully, their pet dog significantly helped Duchess, and now she isn't alone and sad, but double happy!
