Look Who's Back! Prince Philip Makes First Public Appearance After His Surgery, And The Queen Couldn't Be Happier

Earlier in April, the Duke of Edinburgh undergone a successful hip replacement surgery. He was released from the hospital after spending there nearly two weeks. Prince Philip hasn't appeared in public ever since he was seen on his way home, and everyone missed him.

The Duke is back!

His Royal Highness made his first public appearance after almost a month of home recovery. He joined the Queen at the Royal Windsor Horse Show on May 11th, and she couldn't have been happier.



Queen Elizabeth II was noticeably in high spirits as a result of finally having her husband back. She had a wide smile throughout the entire event, and she was seen talking to Prince Philip, while he was sitting inside his private car.

There's still no confirmation from the Kensington Palace on whether the duke will be attending Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding on May 19th.

However, based on the fact that he was able to attend the horse show a week prior to the big royal event, it makes us believe Prince Philip isn't planning on missing his grandson's special day.


We really hope to see His Royal Highness join the royal family and celebrate Harry and Meghan's wedding.
