Queen Couldn't Hide Her Joy Days After Her Sixth Great-Grandchild's Birth During The Official Event

Queen Elizabeth II was absent at St. Mary's Hospital during the birth of her sixth great-grandchild on April 23rd, but she was with the family in spirit. The Queen celebrated the new addition to the royal lineage by taking a laid-back horseback ride.

The longest-reigning monarch takes good care of her health, so the time-off was warranted for her. It also made sure that the Queen could get back to work rested. This wonderful nature-bonding activity and a new great-grandchild ensured Queen Elizabeth's great mood the following days.

Just two days after Prince William and Kate Middleton's child was born, the Queen returned to her duties. She tended to her royal responsibilities at Windsor Castle glowing with happiness.

Fake "Queen" stole the spotlight

Even though Her Majesty didn't appear to greet Prince William's second son in person, there was something to fill in for her. The Queen's wax figure made a quick drive-by the Lindo Wing before William and Kate came out of the building.


The crowd loved the fake "Queen", which quickly became the online sensation and spread via Twitter.
