This week, Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton paid a visit to South Yorkshire, where they had a lot of engagements to attend to.

One of the very special appearances by the royal couple happened when they joined volunteers at Centrepoint's hostel to help prepare meals for the charity.
Apparently, William and Kate's dinner visit turned out to be a lot of fun and was packed with laughter.
A relaxed William jokes about protocol
Before sitting down for dinner with the royal couple, Centrepoint volunteers were given specific instructions on how to address William and Kate. Protocol dictates that the proper way to call the royals is 'Your Royal Highness' and 'Sir' or 'Ma’am'.
William happened to catch the instructions and openly chuckled about them. One of the guests told HELLO! about the Prince's reaction:
He just laughed about it. He said something about updating it. He was wonderful, easy to talk to.
The Duke of Cambridge seemed in exceptionally high spirits, and even made a joke at his wife's expense. What happened was that Kate accidentally cut bread into very big pieces and was going around apologizing for it. Her husband, who's known to be the king of 'dad' humor, quickly came up with an appropriate comment:
Don't be put off by the size of Catherine's bread. They’re enough to wedge the door.
It's great to know our favorite royals truly know how to have fun!
Interestingly, William and Kate aren't the first members of the royal family to help prepare food for a charity. Earlier, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also got busy in the kitchen prior to Meghan's charity cookbook launch.
