For some reasons best known to first daughter, Ivanka Trump, and her husband, Jared Kushner, they showed up as guests at the service in honor of Senator John McCain, despite the bad blood between their families.
Did the McCains invite them?
After speculations online about their status at the gathering, Abby Huntsman, who has recently joined The View as a co-host in Meghan McCain's absence, says Ivanka and Jared were surprise guests.
She added that it was very unlikely that an invite had been extended to them from the family, as the atmosphere and speeches at the service were hostile to President Trump.
Here's what people think
The late Senator had specifically asked to exclude the President from his funeral in favor of his VP, Mike Pence.
Huntsman told her co-host, Whoopi Goldberg, that it was likely that Ivanka and Jared, who are both officials of Donald Trump's government, have been invited by a mutual friend, Senator Lindsay Graham.
Ivanka and Jared said nothing when a WH staffer joked about McCain’s death. They stayed silent while Trump attacked McCain repeatedly. Whether they were invited or not, Ivanka and Jared should have stayed home.— A Little Royal (@alittlebitroyal) September 1, 2018
...and none of them...(ahem) Ivanka and Jared...should have gone.— Arizona (@EuphorbiaZ) September 5, 2018
Absolutely AGREED ! Amazing that both Ivanka and Jared were - sadly - so dense about it and totally oblivious that NO member of the Trump family was welcome.— Mili Boreham (@BorehamSearch) September 5, 2018

What a disgusting family the Trumps are. They show up, then sit there and text during the funeral.
Disrespectful to their core.
Online, people are critical of Ivanka and Jared for showing up even if an invite was extended to them. They believe the couple should have respected the McCains and stayed away. Thoughts?
