It 's an emotional time for fans of The Big Bang Theory. The show officially begins its final season on September 24, following a joint announcement by Warner Bros. Television, CBS, and Chuck Lorre Production confirming its end.

It is likely that Parsons felt the need to address rumors that his decision to move on to other things was the reason why the show was ending.

Is he to blame?

Entertainment Weekly claimed that Parsons along with other main actors on the show were offered the option of 2 more years and approximately $50 million plus profits. The actor reportedly declined this offer, leaving his castmates hanging.
