From being the host of his talk show to the Oscars, it seems Jimmy Kimmel has no rest. However, his successful career doesn’t stop him from being a great father and a loving husband.

This year, Jimmy’s wife Molly McNearney celebrated her second Mother’s Day as a mother of two, which is something the proud parents weren’t even sure would happen.

The couple’s youngest child, Billy, was born with a congenital heart defect and had to go through two major surgeries shortly after being born. Earlier, in April, Kimmel admitted in an interview:

I think subconsciously, we didn’t want to get too close to the baby because we didn’t know what was going to happen.

The difficult times made the TV host into one of the biggest healthcare activists. His wife was always by his side, saying that their son "taught (her) true strength and joy."

Luckily, Billy’s health has since got better, and a few weeks ago, the happy kid celebrated his first birthday.

On Mother's Day, Kimmel took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of his family spending time together.

He continued the Mother’s Day posts with a throwback photo of him and his own mother, Joann, in adorable matching outfits.

Joann is a legendary mom. When hosting the Oscars, Jimmy relied on her to provide him with a sugar boost. He said:

My mother, unbeknownst to me, spent the weekend making Oscar cookies. And she put glitter [on them], I don’t know if it was edible or what. Cookies which she then packed in disposable Tupperware boxes and brought to the show.

But she didn’t stop there.

So while the Oscar show is going on, my mother is in the audience passing cookies around to various people, including Steven Spielberg.

We’d love to have a bite, too!
