He’s been bearing the tile of one of the UK's most eligible bachelors for too long! At 57, Hollywood star Hugh Grant has finally proposed to his long-term girlfriend and mother of his children Anna Eberstein.
While the Love Actually star hasn’t commented on the engagement yet, a photograph of the couple’s wedding banns has been all over the British newspapers. The wedding banns are a publicly displayed notice, which is held for 28 days in the register office. It includes the details of where the couple intends to get married. What a lovely tradition!
Even though the engaged couple has been private about their relationship, they have been linked for more than 6 years and share three kinds together. The third child was welcomed this spring. The name hasn’t been announced yet.
The Notting Hill star also has 2 more children from his previous relationship with Tinglan Hong, 5-year-old son Felix Chang and 6-year-old daughter Tabitha Xaio Xi.
Anna Eberstein is s Swedish TV producer and the director of sock company Ace&Me, which she founded with her cousin in 2014. Before starting her own company, Anna was quite a busy lady, as she previously worked as a freelance creative producer/director and a promotions producer for marketing and sales.
The couple is currently residing in London. Though this is the first marriage for Hugh Grant, he has been involved in several high-profile relationships, including with fellow actress Elizabeth Hurley who he dated for 13 years and a British socialite Jemima Khan.
Congratulations, Hugh and Anna!
