The groom was wearing the frock-coat uniform of the Blues and Royal. His brother appeared to be dressed the same with some slight differences.

Kensington Palace announced:

Her Majesty The Queen gave her permission for Prince Harry to get married in his uniform. Both uniforms were tailored at Dege & Skinner on Savile Row.

While Prince Harry and Prince William's outfits were both tailored at the same place, there are some noticeable differences between the medals and braids on William's attire in comparison to Harry’s one.

The groom was sporting a Pilots’ Wing badge on the left side of his uniform. He received the badge for serving in the Army Air Corps. Harry rose to the rank of Captain in the Blues and Royals after completing two tours to Afghanistan.

Prince William received his wings for flying in the RAF. He also has two ribbons: one for the Queen’s Golden Jubilee and the second one for The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Since William is a member of the Order of the Garter, he was wearing a Garter star as well.

The Duke of Cambridge is an Aide-de-Camp to The Queen, so his shoulder straps also bear the Queen's cipher. For the same reason, he wore the golden braids across his right shoulder.

As it was said by the Guardian, Queen Victoria installed this small group of personal aides-de-camp. Her grandson-in-law, Prince Louis of Battenberg, was one of the first royal to receive the honor of joining the group.
