Prince William took a break from his fatherly duties for the second time and joined Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for the Anzac Day service, thus leaving Kate at home with their newborn son.

The trio attended the congregation for a traditional service where the Last Post was played and Turkey's Ambassador to the UK read famous words of Turkey's founding father from Anzac Cove. Later, the soon-to-be-wedded Meghan and Harry appeared close to tears when they paid tribute at the New Zealand War Memorial.

When Prince William met New Zealand High Commissioner to the UK, Jerry Mateparae, the Dean of Westminster joked about the newborn prince’s name, saying:

The Duke of Cambridge replied that ‘Jerry is a strong name’.

When asked about the recent events, William said that Kate and the baby are feeling well.
