A new photograph

Kensington Palace shared an additional snap, taken to commemorate the special occasion.

The photograph captures a rare moment when the baby prince is not sleeping, which is, don’t get us wrong, still adorable! The charming young royal portrayed with a delightful look on his face, while he is being held by his stunning mother, Duchess of Cambridge.

All of the official photographs were taken in the morning room and garden at Clarence House. The hero of the day was then christened in an intimate ceremony in the Chapel Royal on Monday, July 9.

It was little Louis’ second public appearance. For the christening, he wore a long lace gown, which is a replica of the christening robe worn in 1841. The same gown was worn by Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s other children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
