Forgive and forget – not

On Friday, The View co-host accepted the Lyndon B. Johnson Liberty and Justice for All award in Texas on behalf of her 81-year-old father, who has been battling with brain cancer. John McCain was diagnosed with the terminal disease last year.

His daughter can’t leave in the past the hurtful words with which the President talked about her father. She fiery stated, standing on stage:

[Trump’s] comments are never going to be OK with me, especially at this moment in my life. I’m never going to forgive it. I’m never going to move on from it.

Meghan said she can’t stand anymore such behavior coming from the White House.

If anyone wants to say anything to me in any way, they have to do it publicly. I don’t take private phone calls from the Trump Administration anymore.

McCain was imprisoned in North Vietnam for more than five years. It was reported that he was repeatedly tortured during his imprisonment.

Trump wasn’t the only one who attacked the senator. The White House aide Kelly Sadler reportedly joked that his opinion didn’t matter as “he’s dying anyway.

According to McCain, Sadler, who left the White House after her cruel joke, previously told she would make a public apology, but she hasn’t done so as of yet.
