On October 2, Kate Hudson has become a mother again, this time to a beautiful baby daughter. The 39-year-old, who also has two sons, revealed that she and her boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa, named their first child Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa.
The unusual yet special name was not chosen on a whim. According to the actress, the baby girl was named after her granddad, Danny’s father Ron, who was very special to Fujikawa. Since welcoming her baby, Kate gave herself time to rest and bond with a new addition to her family. But the actress couldn’t skip a very special event that took place just five weeks after she gave birth.
Kate's new role
The 39-year-old made her first public appearance as a mom of three when she attended an event to celebrate her new role with the United Nation’s World Food Programme - a Goodwill Ambassador.
"The work of the WFP is so much more than just feeding people, it’s about strengthening families, rebuilding communities."— World Food Programme (@WFP) November 1, 2018
WFP is honoured to announce Kate Hudson as our Goodwill Ambassador. Thank you for joining our fight for a #ZeroHunger world! https://t.co/Y6UWf7Zs2l pic.twitter.com/6cBJrOnEkq
Hudson showed off her postpartum body in a beautiful floral dress, which made her look uber-feminine. Even though she seemed to gain a few extra pounds, she still looked absolutely stunning.
The actress teamed a pretty number with a pair of nude heels and a big radiant smile on her face as she joined designer Michael Kors and Natalie Morales, who was the event’s moderator.
Kate seems to follow her mother’s footsteps. Goldie Hawn is known for her extensive charity work as she founded a non-profit organization MindUP, which helps children manage their stress and anxiety in school, work, and daily life.
Now the mother and daughter duo are fighting together to help to make the world a better place to live, which certainly deserves some respect.
