Melania Trump Warns Of ‘Destructive And Harmful’ Effects Of Social Media As People Urge Her To Start With Her Husband

Melania Trump is against cyberbullying, which sounds ironic to many. The first lady opened a cyberbullying conference talking about the dangers of social media.

“Destructive and harmful”

At the conference, Melania mentioned that social media plays a big role in children’s lives, but its effects can be “harmful”.  She said:

In today’s global society, social media is an inevitable part of our children’s daily lives. It can be used in many positive ways, but can also be destructive and harmful when used incorrectly.

Trump suggested that kids should be educated on how to be safe in the online setting and how to use the social media responsibly.

“That dog”

The first lady’s words come just a week after her husband called the former White House aide “that dog” on Twitter. Moreover, during Melania’s speech, Mr. Trump fired back at his critics.

He didn't set back as he released his rage at the former CIA director John Brennan, dubbing him as “the worst CIA Director in our country's history” and a “hack.”

Social media users shared their opinion on Twitter

Some people pointed out the irony of Melania’s words, but the first lady decided to focus on her work rather than her husband. Her communications director claimed that the first lady is aware of the criticism but it will not discourage her from doing what she considers to be the right thing.
