Jennifer Garner is a true fighter. If you want any proof, just check her recent action-packed movie, the “Peppermint.” But even though she is a tough cookie, there is something the 46-year-old is terrified of and it is social media.
Is it so bad?
The mom-of-three recently spoke to Fox News where she revealed she wants to keep her kids offline for as long as possible.
My kids don’t have any social media yet. And I am terrified. I think it puts so, so much pressure on kids at an age when they’re really vulnerable anyway.
Garner admits she might be overprotective, but we certainly can see her point.
We didn’t have Social Media, when we were kids!!— Ben K. (@BenKunkel2) September 5, 2018
Don't blame her. There doesn't appear to be much control, too much negativity and bullying.— Diane Campbell (@backbay09) September 5, 2018
I seriously don't blame her. Its a lions den out here!— fitfoodinspo (@fitfoodinspo) September 5, 2018
The actress is not only trying to protect her kids from the pressure of social media, but she also wants them to have an as normal life as possible.
12-year-old Violet, 9-year-old Seraphina, and 6-year-old Samuel rarely appear in public but they made an exception for a very special reason. They gathered with the rest of Garner’s family and friends to support the actress when she received her own star on Hollywood’s Walk Of Fame.
It was a pivotal moment in Jennifer’s career, so it is no wonder that her closest people were by her side.
