Blatant Abuse Of Public Money? Prince Edward Is Accused Of Taking A £37,000 Private Jet For A 133-Mile Trip Instead Of A £250 Train Ride
Prince Edward used to be the third in line to the throne the day he was born. Now, he is way back on the list, but that doesn’t seem to bother him a lot. He is the fourth child of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. Edward was born in 1964. He has two children of his own together with Sophie Rhys-Jones.
Now, the Earl of Wessex has taken a lot of his father’s responsibilities, and he is expected to take his title upon Prince Philip’s death.
The news about Prince Edward abusing public money came out of the blue, and all kinds of anti-monarchy campaigns have already made a lot of fuss of the occasion.
It is said the prince has traveled between Tamworth, Staffs, and Poole, Dorset, and according to a private jet company, the jet’s cost is estimated at £37,150 for a one-way trip. The same distance could have been covered for £250 by train.
Whether it was a wise decision or not, it’s not up to us to say, but the prince must have had his reasons to spend so much of public money.
People have reacted to such a news in lots of different ways. Most of them were utterly shocked and outraged by the prince’s bold behavior.
That really is a piss take.. he is hardly heard of anyway poncing about in fur coats. He is mega weird. Wouldn't leave my young son alone with him. Outrageous. How many other perks are the low ones enjoying .— sarah jane mcentee (@sarahmac66) 13 червня 2018 р.

Where did get your figures from. £37000 no where near this amount. For such a short flight you could get private jet for this journey for about £2000— David Wootton (@WestNorfolkBees) 13 червня 2018 р.
Anyways, let’s wait and see how the whole situation is going to turn out.
