Finally, Prince Louis’ Christening Date Is Announced! Prince William And Kate Let People Know The Name Of Archbishop As Well

It’s one of the events the whole world waits in anticipation. Right after Prince William and Kate Middleton’s son was born, people started wondering about the baby’s christening date. It took a while for the parents to decide.

First, they announced the name – Louis Arthur Charles, and then, the discussion of the future christening started. The couple who already has 2 other kids is very protective of their 3rd one, and they’ve made it clear the ceremony will be closed.

We’ll no doubt have the official christening photos, as we did with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. They give the photographers something to work with and then they expect a bit of privacy for the rest of the day.


At last, they’ve announced the date when Prince Louis is to be christened. It will be on Monday, 9th July at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace, London.

What is more, the name of the Archbishop has been revealed - The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to announce that the christening of Prince Louis will take place on Monday 9th July at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace, London. Prince Louis will be christened by The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby.


People on Twitter got more than excited about such a news! All of them can’t wait for the pic of the whole family with 3 children together! What’s more, fan’s have already started guessing who might be the baby’s godparents.
