A Spendthrift Meghan? Her Royal Ascot 2018 Outfit Costs A Whooping Sum Of Money

Date June 20, 2018

Meghan Markle already knows how to impress! She hasn’t been accused of improper look since her wedding to Prince Harry. For that major occasion, she opted for a wedding dress by Givenchy.

All the more, it’s the designer she chose for another important engagement - the Royal Ascot. It was a perfect pure white look with some elements of black that stole the show.

Yet, it’s hard to believe how much the whole Meghan's head-to-toe designer Ascot look cost. The Duchess of Sussex had a white dress by Givenchy, a Philip Treacey hat, a Givenchy bag and Balenciaga shoes on.

All in all, such an outfit is about to result in £6,409.84. The most expensive item there was definitely the dress. It’s not 100%, but it could have cost around £3,190 as a Givenchy shirt dress that is currently selling on website Net-a-Porter. However, a custom-made one will definitely be more expensive.

Kate Middleton didn’t attend this year’s Royal Ascot. However, her debut was even more memorable in terms of her outfit cost. Her dress for the 2017 Royal Ascot is estimated at £4,542. It was D&G’s Cotton Blend Lace Dress, and again it was white as well as Meghan Markle’s one.
