It was only last year that Serena Williams gave birth to her adorable baby daughter in Florida. The 35-year-old tennis player and her partner, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, were over the moon.

Post-baby struggles

It’s only now that Serena Williams has come to terms with everything that’s happened to her. Recently, in an exclusive interview to Byrdie, Serena has opened up about her post-baby body struggles and how she was playing Wimbledon "with a tummy."

Quitting breastfeeding for tennis

There’s another major decision Serena had to make when it came to the issue about returning to the big sports. The tennis player sacrificed her breastfeeding time for sports. She desperately wanted to return to her profession and had to strip herself and her baby of breastfeeding. It was hard but necessary.

Still, it doesn’t diminish the fact, Serena did breastfeed her baby for a long time and gave her girl all the best she could. That’s what every mother should do for her kid.
