Mike Pence Rushed To Help Congressman's Wife Belinda Culberson After She Had Fallen Getting Off The Plane

A few days ago, one year after Hurricane Harvey damaged the area, Mike Pence was back in Texas on a tour to the state. There, Vice President spoke at the First Baptist Church of Rockport and attended a fundraiser in Houston to help boost John Culberson, who’s running for reelection this year.
But there was another touching moment that made headlines
Arrived in Corpus Christi today to tour the recovery efforts in Texas nearly a year after Hurricane Harvey. Thanks for the warm greeting from @GovAbbott, Rep. Michael Cloud, Mayor Joe McComb, and the GREAT people of the Lone Star State. pic.twitter.com/QTLCkmfaDU— Vice President Mike Pence (@VP) August 22, 2018
While Pence and Culberson were walking away from Air Force Two plane, Belinda Culberson, a congressional representative’s wife, suddenly tripped on the ground while exiting the staircase. Luckily, the Vice President was there to help her.
VP Pence rushes to the aid of Belinda Culberson, wife of @CongCulberson, when she fell stepping off the stairs of Air Force Two at Hobby Airport in Houston. She was not hurt and Pence and Culberson went to greet supporters on the tarmac. pic.twitter.com/TVDZ35N3up— Mark Knoller (@markknoller) August 22, 2018
Once the 59-year-old realized she had fallen, he rushed to Belinda’s side to help her get up. Luckily, it seems that the woman was not hurt, as they all moved forward quickly to greet supporters on the tarmac, and Mrs. Culberson was smiling.
How did the public react to Pence’s good deed?
First, I saw just the pics & thought she was taking even both knees😯— Cornelia (@cornelia_m3610) August 23, 2018
