One year ago, Dog the Bounty Hunter’s wife, Beth Chapman, was pronounced cancer-free after a prolonged battle with the disease. Fans were so happy for Beth and her family and sent their warmest wishes to the reality stars.

On Tuesday, November 27, Beth underwent urgent surgery to remove a mass in her throat. Unfortunately, the mass turned out to be cancerous. The family attorney, Andrew Bettler, confirmed the sad news in a statement to E! News.
