Garth and Trisha’s beautiful love story

In 2018, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary, however, few people know that they have been friends for almost two decades before tying the knot.

Garth and Trisha met while recording a song at a studio. At first, their relationships were strictly professional and only after a while, they transformed into a close friendship, and then, into love.

In one of his interviews, Garth confessed he felt like he met his soulmate with Trisha.

Trisha’s role as a step-mother

Garth Brooks has three daughters from his previous marriage. He and Trisha do not have their own kids together.

When Yearwood was asked what it felt like for her to become a step-mother to three kids at one moment, she replied she was lucky to find her place in the family that includes Garth’s treasured daughters.

Trisha said:

It’s been a part of my life that I would have never would have ever known to dream about and it’s been so rewarding to get to be a part of this family.

Now, the singer’s daughters are grown up and live their adult life. His middle daughter, August, blessed Garth with his first grandchild when she was 19. Brook gushes over his adorable granddaughter Karalynn, saying:

She’s the little stem that kind of holds the whole family together, and it’s kind of new for us. She’s a doll.

For Trisha Yearwood, it doesn’t matter whether you’re a biological parent or not: If you love your partner, you will love his/her children as well.
