Nothing is ever new under the sun. Everything we have ever done or created was at one point done by someone else. Most times, we try to refine it and make it different. However, it seems Melania Trump isn’t great at refining.

Most often than not, the First Lady of the United States of America has been accused of plagiarizing. However, her most famous cases was that which involved the former First Lady, Michelle Obama.

At the Republican National Convention in July 2016, Melania delivered a speech that was robustly applauded. But it was soon discovered that the address was a copy of Michelle’s speech at the 2008 Democratic Convention.

Times she copied Donald’s exes

Unfortunately, that wasn’t Melania’s only time of plagiarizing. In fact, it seems she has taken copying too far as she has been spotted copying her husband’s exes at some point.

1. Stealing a look from Ivana Trump

Melania once rocked a pink Barbie dress for a Mar-a-Lago photoshoot in 2011, and fashion designer, Vicky Tiel recognized it as one of his creations.

The celebrity designer noted that he had made a similar creation for Donald’s ex-wife, Ivana Trump back when she was still married to Trump.

He said:

“How often is it that the two wives are wearing the same identical dress?”

2. Plagiarizing Marla Maples’ speech

In 2016, when Melania was speaking at a campaign event in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, she recalled her childhood in Slovenia before immigrating. While talking about how much she dreamed about America, Melania said:

“America meant, if you could dream it, you could become it.”

As pointed out by historian Yoni Brander, that line was lifted from an interview Marla had in 2011.

Could it be just coincidences?

During an interview with ABC, Melania mentioned that she believes she is one of the most bullied people in the world.

Could it be that these cases were simply coincidences which were blown out of proportion to tarnish her image? Or does Melania genuinely have a thing for copying? Let us know what you think!
