Even though it has been over two decades since the movie was released, Diaz revealed that people still come up to her and remember her from the film.

It’s just this joyous feeling that you get off of them. I appreciate that so much.

Mulroney also experiences the same. He told Entertainment Weekly that he often thinks about his co-stars and he still gets a lot of attention for his role.

My Best Friend’s Wedding is the story of a food critic named Julianne Potter, played by Roberts, who got very jealous when she discovered that her best friend Michael (Mulroney) was getting married to Kimmy (Diaz).

So Julianne decided she was going to ruin the wedding and get Michael back. Back in college, Julianne and Michael had a one-month fling but had a platonic friendship since then.
