At 78, 'Cat Woman' Jocelyn Wildenstein Doesn't Plan To Stop Having Extreme Plastic Surgeries

New York socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein has a long and troubling history of plastic surgeries, which has earned her notoriety for decades. Her journey began while she was married to a billionaire heir, Alec Wildenstein.

What started out as a simple his-and-hers facelift turned out to be a life of constant alterations that have become more disturbing as the years go by. In some circles, Jocelyn Wildenstein is called the ‘cat woman’, thanks to her feline eyes and high cheekbones.

In her Vanity Fair interview several years ago, she suggested her features were natural and suggested that her surgeries were not intended to make her look like a cat, at least not all of them. However, some of her friends begged to differ.

The lynx has perfect eyes. If I show you pictures of my grandmother, what you see is these eyes — cat eyes — and high cheekbones.

Jocelyn Wildenstein’s surgeries got her a lot of negative press and she had no intentions of stopping. However, a judge ruling in her famous divorce settlement insisted she never spends her settlement money on surgeries.

After her divorce, 'cat woman' dated fashion designer Lloyd Klein, but their relationship was marred by scandal. She faced charges in court for allegedly assaulting Klein.

She had the money she needed

Wildenstein won a $2.5 billion settlement, with $100 million for 13 years afterward. That is many surgeries she never had. She was married for 21 years in some ways her relationship paid off nicely.

Wildenstein is on record as having one of the biggest divorce settlements in history. However, she filed for bankruptcy this year, claiming that her immense fortune is no more. In her affidavit, the ‘cat woman’ claimed she had “$0” in her Citibank account.

I am not employed and my only income is Social Security. I often turn to friends and family in order to pay my ongoing expenses.

While her claims may be true, Wildenstein is not entirely broke. She still owns $16.4 million in assets and $6.4 million in liabilities.

One thing seems certain, Jocelyn Wildenstein did not heed the warning from the judge as her appearance has changed dramatically since her divorce. The 77-year-old Manhattanite might just keep up her journey to the doctor for as long as she can afford it.
