In the wake of Roseanne Barr’s implosive tweet that led to the cancelation of her highly acclaimed show, her friend Bill Maher is weighing in on the matter.

Multiple personality disorder?

Maher, who has an HBO night show, Real Time with Bill Maher, said Barr is known to have suffered from a multiple personality disorder. He added that one of these personalities was unfortunately racist.

Maher and Roseanne Barr have often had their public fights, but they have remained quite close.

The embattled actress/comedian is known to be openly supportive of Trump, and Maher had called her out on this when her show, Roseanne, first aired.

In response, Roseanne Barr told Bill Maher to focus on improving the ratings of his show instead of worrying about her.

In Maher’s monologue on his show, he said he completely understood why a mentally ill person could be in support of Trump’s presidency.

A spin-off?

The talk show host also joined Jimmy Kimmel in suggesting that ABC consider a spin-off of the show instead of out rightly canceling it.
