Does Prince Harry have daddy plans?

During the couple's first post-engagement interview with BBC, Prince Harry let the world know that kids are definitely in his future.

When asked by the interviewer if the couple plans to have children, the Prince simply stated:

One step at a time and hopefully we'll start a family in the near future.

Well, he certainly has plenty of practice. As an uncle to the adorable children of Prince William, we're certain he has what it takes to be a great daddy.

But what will Harry's children's titles be?

Apparently, there's a good chance that any children born to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be known as Lord/Lady and not Prince/Princess like those of the Duke of Cambridge.

According to royal rules made a hundred years ago, if Harry and Meghan have kids while Queen Elizabeth II is still on the throne, they will be known as Lord or Lady (first name) Mountbatten-Windsor.

The law specifically said:

...the grandchildren of the sons of any such Sovereign in the direct male line (save only the eldest living son of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales) shall have and enjoy in all occasions the style and title enjoyed by the children of Dukes of these Our Realms.

However, it's possible that the Queen might issue new Letters Patent to change this. This was what she did for Prince William and Kate Middleton's children.

Well, regardless of titles, we just cannot wait to catch our first glimpse of the royal cuties that this beautiful couple will make someday.
