Felicity Huffman doesn't see it happening

During The Rape Foundation Annual Brunch, which took place in Beverly Hills on October 8, the Desperate Housewives actress spoke to Entertainment Tonight about whether or not the show will get a reboot.

When asked if she will someday reprise her character, Lynette Scavo, Huffman said:

No, there's no plans to reboot. I think we used up all the narrative there is and I think it's just going to be a cherished memory. It certainly is for me.

She also told ET that children were "under the tables...behind the couches" during the shooting of some scenes.

Eva Longoria had the same reaction

During an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, pregnant Eva Longoria also shared that ABC hasn't mentioned any plans of shooting Desperate Housewives' reboot.

And like Huffman, she mentioned that it would be hard to come up with new storylines.

We did 24 episodes a year (for eight years). We fully mined those characters.

In the interview, the actress also revealed that she is still close friends with some of her co-stars from the show, including Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross.

So will there be a reunion of these ladies on TV anytime soon? Well, never say never, but judging by these responses, it's safe to say there are currently no plans for that. But hey, we can always hope.
