Brian previously told The Irish Sun that one of his ex-bandmate was causing him to lose out on a deal with Westlife because they just could not forgive him for quitting years ago.

In the April 2018 interview, he said that the only thing holding back a reunion was "ego", saying that the rest of the band turned down a massive deal from Simon Cowell and refused to rebuild the band.

How does that make me feel? It makes me pretty upset because I didn’t realise they still had those feelings towards me.

Well, it looks like the rest of the band is going right ahead without Brian, and with a different label.

Some of their best hits

The award-winning band began making waves in December of 2000. They topped charts and gained millions of adoring fans over the years.

In 2004, Brian McFadden shocked fans when he announced he was leaving the band to spend more time with his family. The rest of the group – Shane Filan, Kian Egan, and Mark Feehily – continued on until October of 2011, when they announced their amicable split.
