Meghan Markle always finds a way to ensure she does not upstage and husband. And you have to look closely to see her subtle methods.
Nudging him to center stage
If you watch this couple, you may notice that Meghan Markle has some techniques which she adopts to push her husband to the limelight. Considering she was a famous actress herself, plus due to people's interest in her style, it's easy for Meghan to always steal the attention when they go out as a couple.
However, the Duchess tries not to let this happen. For example, she often has the habit of gently nudging Prince Harry to lead their entrance when they attend an event.
According to body language expert, Judi James, who spoke to Elle Magazine, Meghan knows that Harry is and should be the star among royal fans. By nudging her husband forward, she's trying to boost his profile, James explained,
making him feel more of an alpha male in the situation.
Another technique Meghan adopts is to retreat behind her husband when they arrive at an event. This is her way of making sure he's seen first, James explained while adding that this way, Prince Harry leads the couple through the entrance.
Despite her effort at making sure her husband is viewed in the traditionally male role, Meghan is more in control than one might think.
According to James, the fact that she uses the palm of her hand to gently push him forward is proof that she's a take-charge kind of woman and doesn't mind relegating to the background one bit.
And let's not forget all that PDA
Unlike Prince William and Kate Middleton, Harry and Meghan don't mind holding hands and even kissing in public. We don't need a body language expert to tell us that traditional roles or not, this couple is definitely into each other.
However, knowing how much effort the Duchess of Sussex puts into making sure her man takes the lead role shows that being a royal can be quite challenging. We still consider them the cutest royal couple, though.
