She said:

I would literally have these horrible things going on in my life and then have to go smile or do some interviews or a photoshoot.

She got angry at God

Underwood admits that the pain was excruciating. When she got pregnant again, she was scared of having another miscarriage, and got angry at God. She asked God to make her stop getting pregnant if she was going to keep losing her babies.

But when she went to the hospital, she was told that her baby was intact, and at that moment, she realized that God heard her. Her new song Cry Pretty was inspired by the emotions she experienced during that dark time in her life.

Medically, according to clinical psychologist Dr. Shoshana Bennett, it's not odd that the singer kept trying, and that she kept a brave face through it all.

Bennett says getting closure after a miscarriage is different for each woman, and trying again is only subject to your doctor's recommendations and emotional readiness. Bravo to Carrie Underwood! We can't wait for her to welcome baby number 2.
