It's hard to imagine Fallon as anything other than the hilarious host of The Tonight Show, but, when he isn't making people laugh, he's bringing them to tears with his mushy love story.

The best proposal ever!

On The Jess Cagle Interview, he said he asked her parents for permission before he proposed and pulled the magical surprise off at the summer home of Nancy's parents on Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire, where he cried like a baby as he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife.

Nancy thought his tearful proposal was funny and asked him if he was having a stroke, but she said yes and the rest is history. Together, they have 2 beautiful daughters, Winnie and Frances.

This story of Jimmy's sweet proposal has fans in their feelings, meanwhile. It has to be something about a man falling apart while trying to pull off a romantic proposal. Who isn't a sucker for love!
