Monty Williams Gives Speech At Wife's Funeral: “I Know Exactly Where My Wife Is”

Date May 16, 2018

It is extremely hard when people we love are gone. It seems the life is over and it will never make us happy again. Nevertheless, we should keep strong and don’t let ourselves get into a depression.

Also, it is hard to find the right words to describe feelings about the person we loved so much. Monty Williams, the famous NBA assistant coach for the Oklahoma City Thunder, managed to find these words and gave a touching speech to pay tribute to the late wife.

In front of relatives and friends, he remembered Ingrid Williams, the woman he loved more than anything in the world.

Monty asked not to mourn Ingrid, but to celebrate her because she was in a better place, where everyone would like to be.

He said:

We didn't lose her. When you lose something, you can't find it. I know exactly where my wife is. I'll miss holding her hand. I'll miss talking with my wife.

His speech left everybody in tears!
