In spite of her successful television career, Locklear has battled substance abuse, and taken a lot of time off work to seek help in rehab clinics.

There is no telling if Locklear will be acquitted by the court of charges raised against her, but it is clear she needs help with her addiction problem.

Drug and alcohol addictions are, perhaps, the most prevalent problem in Hollywood, and many notable stars have fallen victims over the years. While the road to recovery may be hard, keeping the course and remaining clean can be a bigger burden. However, with conscious efforts, anyone can experience an addiction-free life, even Locklear.
