Use Your Voice: Celebrities Send Ivanka Trump Messages On Social Media, Urging Her To Act On Border Crisis

The immigration crisis rocking America has gained global attention with a lot of concern for children who have been displaced from their families. Both Republicans and Democrats have spoken out against child separation. They insist that there must be better alternatives to curbing illegal immigration.

On her part, Ivanka Trump decided to chip in and help manage the situation. In July, she donated $50,000 to the Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas.

Fox News reported that the donation was intended to help the church care for children affected by President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.

In the meantime, several celebrities have written directly to Ivanka on social media asking her to take firmer action on the issue of immigration, especially seeing as she is one of the President’s close advisers.

Meanwhile, Twitter users support the messages celebrities are sending to Ivanka and feel they will get her to act as desired.

President Trump signed a presidential order putting an end to child separation at US borders but reports from CNN suggest there are still a good number of children missing in the system. Ivanka recently revealed that she felt pained by the border crisis but was silent about the matter before the presidential order.
