Still handsome as ever

Firth has not changed much over the years, save his greying hair and the horn-rimmed glasses that many people identify with him. His sly smirk is still a big part of his look and those romantic and equally challenging eyes still leave fans spellbound.

Firth has played some very dramatic roles in his career. He played Jamie in 2003’s “Love Actually,” a family man who returns home to find his wife in bed with his brother. Before that, he played Lord Wessex in “Shakespeare in Love,” a costume drama that won him many accolades.

In 2001, he was Marc Darcy in “Bridget Jones’s Diary” fighting for the affections of a woman against his completion, Daniel Cleaver (played by Hugh Grant).

Happy birthday, Colin Firth. We join your millions of fans around the world to wish you all the best in years to come.
