Heather Locklear Is In Stable Condition After Being Hospitalized Due To Overdose, But Is Still Mentally Unbalanced

Heather Locklear has been going through a very dark time this past week. First, actress was arrested for assaulting a police officer, and then she was hospitalized after suffering an overdose.

Series of unfortunate events

On June 25th, the 56-year old actress was jailed for attacking a cop, who answered the call claiming that Locklear was having a domestic dispute with her relatives while intoxicated.

On that same day, hours after being released from custody, Heather was hospitalized due to overdose. The actress has been struggling with her substance abuse problems for years, and have been recently having issues with mental health.

Health status update

Heather Locklear was released from the hospital in a reportedly stable condition. A source close to the family says that the situation is still quite serious, as the actress refuses to get help, and everyone close to her are afraid of what she might do next. A source noted:

Heather refuses to get treatment. … Heather’s parents are asking [her boyfriend] Chris [Heisser] to stay away from Heather for a bit to give her some space to get the help she needs.
