Robert De Niro Complains That Weisntein Company Still Owes Him $1 Million For His 2012 Oscar Nominated Role

Earlier this year, Weinstein Company filed for bankruptcy amid countless celebrities refusing to work with the production company. It was revealed that Weinstein Co. owes money to 394 pages of actors, directors, and other people working in film industry.

Among the most notable names, who are still waiting to be paid by the company are Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Quentin Tarantino, and many others.

Recently, Robert De Niro joined the claim and says that Weinstein Company owes him approximately $1 million.

Show me the money!

De Niro revealed that he's still yet to be paid for his work on Silver Linings Playbook (2012). The role, for which 74-year-old actor received an Academy Award nomination, was set to bring him $940,000.

Robert De Niro's co-star in the movie Jennifer Lawrence is also among the celebrities waiting to get their rightful money from the company.

The Weinstein Co. is currently in the process of selling their assets, but it's unknown when celebrity claims will finally be rewarded.
