Love Against Competition! Olympics Stars Meghan Duggan And Gillian Apps, Who Played Against Each Other Twice, Got Married

Love is an incredibly strong and wonderful feeling that has no limits. These two beautiful Olympic ice hockey players showed that even former rivals can fall in love with each other and create a family.

Team USA captain Meghan Duggan and former Canadian women's hockey team forward Gillian Apps got married in Pownal, Maine. The romantic wedding ceremony was held outdoors, and women were surrounded by family and friends, including several U.S. Olympic bridesmaids: Kacey Bellamy, Brianna Decker, and Erika Lawler.

The 31-years-old Meghan Duggan and 34-years-old Gillian Apps have already shared photos from the big day on their official social media accounts.

Meghan Duggan is a three-time ice hockey Olympic champion, and Gillian Apps was the member of the Canadian National Hockey Team that won gold medals in three Olympic Games.

By the way, Meghan and Gillian have played against each other twice – in Vancouver in 2010 and in Sochi in 2014.

Now, two former rivals are married and feel as happy as never before.
