Later this year, when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle embark on a tour of Australia and New Zealand, they will have an unexpected celebrity guest with them in the person of David Beckham.
No date has been set for the tour just yet, but the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will embark on their trip during the duration of Invictus Games Sydney 2018.
A major highlight of their trip will be a tour of Sydney where they are expected to take part in the games, which begin October 20.
This is where David Beckham comes in.
I’ve been lucky enough to meet and work with many serving, veteran and wounded British armed forces personnel over the years and I’ve been humbled by the courage, resilience and spirit shown by each and every one of them. So, I’m incredibly proud to announce I will be an Ambassador for this year’s Invictus Games in Sydney. The entire Invictus Games team, led by the Duke of Sussex, has achieved remarkable things in such a short space of time, using sport as a powerful force to rehabilitate and unite and I can’t wait to be part of the energy and the excellence of the Games this year. @invictusgames2018 #IG2018
The ace soccer player announced this via his Instagram page:

It comes as no surprise given that Beckham has worked closely with the royals for years, particularly the Duke of Sussex.
For now, speculations are that the Australia and New Zealand tour will kick off after Princess Eugenie's wedding, and we can't wait to see the trio – Beckham, Harry and Meghan – pull this off!
