Korn's Jonathan Davis Opens Up About His Estranged Wife's Battle With Addiction And Mental Illness After Her Sudden Death

Korn's vocalist, Jonathan Davis, is morning the loss of his estranged wife, Deven Davis, who died mysteriously on Friday, aged 39.

Addiction, restraining order, and death

Prior to her death, Deven had reportedly battled addiction and mental illness.

It is not clear if this was what came between their marriage, but the singer is said to have gotten a restraining order against her on the same day she died.


In a message to address Deven's passing, the frontman of the metal band came clean about Deven's long battle with addiction and mental illness. He told fans:

I loved her with ALL of my being. When she was her true self, she was an amazing wife, amazing mother, and amazing friend.

Members of the band have reached out to Jonathan, following his tragic loss.

James Shaffer, a member of the Korn, said on Twitter:

Jonathan, your wife will no longer suffer all of the demons. She is now with God.

Fans everywhere are heartbroken for Jonathan Davis and his sons.
