Anthony Bourdain's Will Reveals He Left The Majority Of His $1.2 Million Estate To One Person

Famous chef Anthony Bourdain has been mourned by his friends and family. The TV host was found dead on June 6. He was 61 years old. Many consider his death to be a suicide, even though there was no suicide note found.

Bourdain is known for his problems with substance abuse and its effect on his mental health.

The chef’s will

Recently, Bourdain’s will has been released. According to the documents, most of his estate, which is worth $1.21 million, including $425,000 in savings and cash and $250,000 in property goes to one person – his 11-year-old daughter.

The chef’s ex-wife, Ottavia Busia-Bourdain, was named as an executor of his estate. According to the will, she gets all his cars and other “personal and household effects.” 11-year-old Ariane will get a guardian, who will be chosen by the court, in order to “safeguard” the management of her quite impressive inheritance, as she is still a child.

Bourdain noted that if Ariane had died before him, all of the money would go to her nanny, Myra Quizon. The TV host’s death comes three days after a famous 55-year-old fashion designer Kate Spade ended her own life.

People’s reactions

The TV personality had openly spoken out about his battle with drug and alcohol abuse. But, according to the French authorities’ report, there were no narcotic drugs found in his body when he passed away.
