On Monday, the royal had a walking tour of the Tusk Rhino Trail, which was placed outside his home. The Trail includes 21 model rhinos, which have been decorated by artists for a charitable cause. The models are being shown to the public at various locations in London, and will be sold in October so as to raise money for Prince William’s charity.

During the event, the father-of-three met the author of the children’s book The Gruffalo, Julia Donaldson, and the illustrator Axel Scheffler. As it turned out, Prince William already knew who they were, since his kids love their book. He said:

I know who you are. It's a big hit in our household, 'The Gruffalo'.

The book tells a story of a mouse, who is taking a walk in the European forest. It was first published in 1999, and won several awards. Kids all over the world, as well as their parents, loved the story, and it has sold over 13 million copies.
