Amongst them was a young singer from TV music talent show The Voice, 16-year-old Donel Mangena. It is believed that his participation in the concert wasn’t random. Prince Harry personally invited the contestant to perform at his grandma’s birthday.

Favorite show

As it turned out, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are big fans of The Voice Kids. We can already imagine the royal couple curling up in Kensington Palace and tune in to their favorite show.

Duchess Meghan even had a fangirl moment when she met Donel Mangena! The 16-year-old star appeared on Friday's episode of UK’s famous show Lorraine where he revealed what it was like to meet his biggest royal fans backstage at the Queen’s birthday concert. Mangena shared:

Harry and Meghan walked in, and I expected a handshake, but Meghan screamed my name and ran over to give me a hug.

Donel also revealed that the Duke told him "our money's on you," ( the show was still running at that time). Unfortunately, the crowned winner was 18-year-old Ruti Olajugbagbe, but the contest was a good start for the young singer.

People shared their support to Mangena

We are certain we will hear about this sweet-voiced teen in the future!
