Will Princess Eugenie And Jack Brooksbank’s Wedding Be Televised? Expert Reveals The Answer

We are moving closer to another big event of this year - the Queen’s granddaughter’s wedding! The exciting occasion is expected to be glorious, and we can’t wait to join the celebration.
Even though Princess Eugenie is ninth in the line to the throne, she is still Her Majesty’s granddaughter and that says something. The highly-expected wedding, which will take place on October 12, might resemble the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s nuptials, but we can be sure it will carry many special touches.
One of them was revealed recently. Princess Eugenie demanded that there should be no plastic during her special day. The Duchess of York’s daughter said that her whole house lives under “anti-plastic rule”, and she wants her wedding to be like that, too.
But we wonder whether we will be able to see the second royal nuptials at all, as the question whether it will be televised or not still remains.
Will we see the wedding?
Although there haven’t been any announcements yet, a royal expert and historian Marlene Koenig says she will be surprised if millions of people were deprived of watching the ceremony on TV.
In her interview to the Royal Central she said:
I will be surprised if the wedding is not televised. The Duke of Kent’s wedding in 1961 was televised, as was Princess Alexandra’s in 1963.
The fact that the Brits would be able to enjoy the ceremony is not surprising, but how about those who live outside the UK? They might not be as lucky, as the International interest is not as high compared to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.
I’m with Marlene .. I think (and hope!!) the wedding will be televised. Already requested the day off work 😉— royallymegan (@royallymegan) August 2, 2018
Crossing my finger! Love to see that royal wedding again ♥️— sugar (@sugarplumrose10) August 3, 2018
If it were to be televised, it would have been announced by this time.— Shannon (@SLW54) August 2, 2018
It seems that we might just have to wait for the palace’s official announcement, but it looks like it’s a strong possibility that the wedding will be broadcasted after all.
