Date June 22, 2018

We think we know every little detail when it comes to royal weddings, from cake flavors to eye-watering tags on wedding dresses. But do you know anything about the royal brides’ preferred perfumes on their big day?

For the royal nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, a London-based perfume house, Floris, created a new scent that combined a hint of vanilla with orange blossom. Unfortunately, this perfume can’t be found in stores, but you can get Bergamotto di Positano that inspired the royal scent.

Actually, Floris is a royally approved brand. Although it has not been officially confirmed which scent Queen Elizabeth wore on her wedding day, it’s believed to be White Rose.

It might be one of the most favorite scents of Her Majesty because it reminds her of her favorite flowers – carnations. But whatever perfume the Queen wore, we’re sure it complimented her big day.

As for Princess Diana, she preferred Quelques Fleurs by Houbigant Paris. It’s believed that the royal even spilled some of perfume on her dress and was worried that someone would notice a stain on it.

Finally, Kate Middleton opted for White Gardenia Petals by Illuminum, which has been confirmed by Clarence House. Within minutes of the announcement, the scent was sold out, and it’s still difficult to buy.

What perfume would you choose for a special occasion?
