Serena Williams Sends An Encouraging Message To Mothers After Her Wimbledon Loss: "You Can Do It!"

On July 14, hundreds of people from all over the world tuned in to witness the Wimbledon final match. Sadly, fans of Serena Williams couldn’t celebrate the tennis player’s victory, as she lost to Angelique Kerber. But, despite her defeat, the 36-year-old is still a motivation and a huge inspiration for thousands of people.

Following the defeat, the tennis star took to Instagram to prove to her fans that she knows how to hold her head high. In an emotional message, she thanked everyone for the support and promised to be back soon for the US Open:

Your support has ment so much to me. Road to the Us Open is next! Stay strong no matter what.

It was only the 4th tournament for Serena since giving birth to her baby girl in 2017. So it’s no surprise she dedicated the Wimbledon match to all the mothers watching it:
