How Roseanne will be removed from The Conners

It’s almost here! Roseanne spin-off, The Conners, will appear on screens pretty soon. On Tuesday, ABC released a 30-second promo of the upcoming brand new show.

All this time, Roseanne fans kept wondering how exactly the network will remove Barr’s character from the popular series. One of the most obvious suggestions was that they’re going to ‘kill’ Roseanne in the new series.

Now, the sad truth is finally revealed. In a recent interview, Roseanne explained that her character will die of an opioid overdose.

Oh ya, they killed her. They have her die of an opioid overdose.

“She should have died as a hero!”

It looks like Barr is not satisfied with the way the network will remove her character from The Conners. In the star’s opinion her personage “should have died as a hero but not like this.”

Well, it’s easy to understand Barr’s feelings. First, they canceled her show, then announced its spinoff, and finally, ‘killed’ the character she played for more than 10 years. We feel really sorry for Roseanne. It’s like the end of an era.
