Susan Brown, the beloved General Hospital star passed away on Friday. She was 86.

Susan Brown, best known for her iconic role as Dr. Gail Adamson Baldwin in ABC series General Hospital, died on Friday, August 31, at the age of 86. The star was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
Brown joined the popular soap opera in 1977 and left it in 1985. In 2004, the actress made a guest appearance in the series. For her awesome play, Susan was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award.
Later, Brown reprised her iconic role in the show spinoff. Fans could also remember the actress for her appearance in Santa Barbara and As the World Turns.
Frank Valentini, the executive producer of General Hospital, expressed his condolences to the family in an emotional tweet. Multiple fans of Susan Brown and her co-stars also paid memorable tributes to honor the veteran actress.
